27 orphans get financial benefits under Mission Vatsalya Scheme

POONCH, MARCH 20: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal extended his support to orphan children by distributing sponsorship cheques under the Mission Vatsalya Scheme. The event aimed to uplift the lives of these children by providing them with essential resources to aid in their education and nutrition.

A total of 27 orphaned children received sponsorship payments today, contributing to a grand total of 215 children who will benefit from this initiative. During the event, an impressive sum of ₹2,12,000 was disbursed amongst the recipients.

The Deputy Commissioner interacted with children, emphasizing the importance of utilizing the assistance provided under the scheme. He encouraged them to fully benefit from this initiative, as it is designed to enhance their education and nutrition, ultimately brightening their future.

Social Welfare Officer, Wakeel Ahmed Bhat highlighted the objectives of the Mission Vatsalya Scheme, he said each child is set to receive a monthly support of ₹4,000 until the age of 18 or 36 month whichever is earlier, ensuring their welfare and future prospects are secured urging all eligible children to avail of the benefits aimed at enhancing their living conditions and future opportunities.
