Uri: The body of a 30-year-old man was fished out after five days from NHPC Dam at Salambad Uri on Tuesday.
Official sources said that a person identified as Nisar Ahmad Telli son of Jabar telli of Dacha Salamabad, Boniyar had jumped from Chandanwari Uri bridge into river Jehlum on May 12.
After five days of continuous efforts by police, SDRF and locals, they said, the body was recovered today from NHPC Dam Salamabad Uri.
It was shifted to SDH Uri for legal formalities and would be handed over to the family for last rites. (GNS)
