KULGAM, AUGUST 19: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Kulgam under the chairmanship of Pr. District & Sessions Judge (Chairman DLSA) Kulgam, Aijaz Ahmad Khan Tuesday held its 3rd Undertrial Review Committee (UTRC) meeting at New Conference Hall, Mini Secretariat Kulgam.
The meeting was chaired by Aijaz Ahmad Khan, Principal District and Sessions Judge Kulgam as Chairman of the Committee and was attended by Vikar Giri, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kulgam; Fozia Paul, Sub Judge/Secretary, DLSA Kulgam; Sahil Sarangal, Senior Superintendent of Police Kulgam; Nadeem Ahmed, Assistant Public Prosecutor; Dr. Showkat Hussain, Chief Medical Officer; Mushtaq Ahmad Malla, Superintendent of District Jail Anantnag; Incharge Subsidiary Jail Anantnag and Chief LADC Kulgam besides other stakeholders.
The committee reviewed the cases of the under-trial prisoners lodged in different jails as per the guidelines of the Supreme Court and NALSA SOP. The data received from concerned Superintendents was perused and analyzed and also discussed on the basis of age, gender and medical/ health reports forwarded.
