Jammu: Police on Friday said that two “interstate drug smugglers”, a couple, were arrested alongwith seven kilograms of heroin in Udhampur district.
“Accused couple has been identified as Lovepreet Singh son Karnail Singh of Ram Tirth Road Amritsar and his wife Mandeep Kaur. “A case under relevant sections of law has been registered in PS Udhampur and investigation taken up,” a police officer said in a statement to GNS. The couple was going in an Innova vehicle which has been also seized. (GNS)
