UDHAMPUR, JULY 17: The four-day training program organized by the District Administration Udhampur under the supervision of District Election Officer Saloni Rai, successfully concluded here today.
The training was specifically conducted for Booth Level Officers and Supervisors of all four Assembly Constituencies of the district.
The training aimed to equip the field-level election functionaries with essential knowledge and skills to ensure a free, fair and smooth electoral revision process.
During the four-day schedule, a total of 654 BLOs and 67 Supervisors were trained by a team of Master Trainers about their respective role and responsibilities in the electoral revision process.
The sessions focused on key aspects including the preparation and revision of the electoral rolls, verification of documents, handling of claims and objections, home visits, facilitation of voter registration and use of IT applications for real-time data entry and monitoring.
