BARAMULLA, JULY 21: Youth Services and Sports, district Baramulla, successfully concluded the Inter-zonal district level Kabaddi competition for Under 14 and Under 17 boys at the Indoor Stadium Khawaja Bagh, Baramulla.
The event witnessed thrilling contests and high sportsmanship among young athletes from various zones.
In the Under 14 category, the final clash was held between zone Sopore and zone Dangerpora, where zone Sopore emerged victorious with an impressive performance.
In the Under 17 category, the tables turned as zone Dangerpora took on zone Sopore and claimed the title with remarkable grit and determination.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO) Baramulla, lauded the spirit of the players and the efforts of the officials for conducting the competition smoothly.
He felicitated the winners and runners-up of both categories with appreciation certificates and trophies, encouraging the youth to remain dedicated and disciplined in sports.
The Kabaddi action continues tomorrow with the Under 19 boys’ competition, scheduled to be held at the same venue.
