UDHAMPUR, JULY 26: To promote digital governance and enhance efficiency in office operations, one-day awareness cum sensitization session on e-Office was organized today by the National Informatics District Centre here in the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex Udhampur.

The session was chaired by District Informatics Officer Anish Sharma along with Sandeep Mathur Master Trainer from IT department. They provided an in-depth overview of the various features and functionalities related to the e-Office. The presentation focused on digitization of office records, file tracking mechanisms and streamlined workflow processes to ensure transparency, accountability and speed in public service delivery.

The awareness session witnessed active participation of officials of various line departments who were sensitized about the importance of adopting digital tools.

Live demonstrations were also conducted to acquaint the participants with hands-on practices related to file creation, movement and monitoring using the e-Office portal.

DIO NIC emphasized the need for timely adoption and implementation of the e-office system across all departments to reduce paperwork, enhance productivity and ensure citizen-centric governance.

The event concluded with an interactive session during which participants raised queries and shared feedback regarding on-ground implementation challenges.
