DC Kupwara chairs DLSCC meeting, 42 cases cleared

KUPWARA, JULY 26: The District Level Screening cum Coordination Committee (DLSCC) today met here under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC), Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan to discuss ex-gratia relief cases pertaining to incidents involving death, injury, property damage, SRO-43, and police personnel.

A comprehensive review of 95 cases was undertaken during the meeting, with inputs gathered from the Police, Army, CRPF and field functionaries.

Emphasizing the importance of thorough consideration, the Deputy Commissioner directed the committee to take into account all available reports, ensuring a balanced approach.

Meanwhile, clarification from different agencies were sought for approval of the cases discussed.
A total of 95 cases of different categories were put forth for discussion before the Committee. These cases pertained to SRO-43, Exgratia, Missing, Death and Property. After thorough deliberation, 42 cases were cleared by the Committee and rest of the cases were deferred for want of clarification from the concerned agencies.

SSP Kupwara, Gulam Jeelani; ADC Kupwara, Gulzar Ahmad; ASP Handwara; CMO, DIO, besides, officers of Army, CID and CRPF attended the meeting.
