SAMBA, AUGUST 06: As part of the Independence Day celebrations, Government Degree College (GDC) Vijaypur, under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Committee, organised a ‘Run for Unity’ to promote national integration and raise awareness against drug abuse.

The event was coordinated by Prof. Anoop Kumar and Dr. Manoj Heer under the guidance of Principal Dr. Ashu Vashist. Faculty members participated enthusiastically, contributing to the success of the event.

The run conveyed a dual message of national solidarity and a drug-free India, in line with the goals of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. It aimed to involve the academic community in social causes and encourage students to adopt healthy and disciplined lifestyles.

Principal Dr. Ashu Vashisht commended the organising committee’s efforts and highlighted the significance of such initiatives in building a responsible and aware society.
