PULWAMA, AUGUST 12: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Pulwama today organized an awareness programme on “International Youth Day” in ADR Centre District Court Complex Pulwama.
This year the theme for International Youth Day was ‘Local Youth Actions for the SDGs and Beyond’ highlights the unique role of youth in translating global ambitions into community-driven realities.
The programme was organised under the chairmanship of Malik Shabir Ahmad, Chairman DLSA (Pr. District & Sessions Judge), Pulwama and under the supervision of Mudasar Farooq Secretary DLSA Pulwama.
On the occasion, Mehraj-ud-din Wani, Chief LADC Pulwama delivered a brief lecture to the participants on the problems faced by the youth of our country like unemployment, drug abuse etc and how these problems can be addressed and solved. He also threw light on the insights into the life of Swami Vivekananda and relevance of his ideology in the present times.
The main purpose of the day was to draw attention to a given set of cultural and legal issues surrounding youth.
Furthermore, Asst. LADC Pulwama also spoke on the occasion. Staff members of DLSA Pulwama, LADCs & PLVs of District Pulwama also participated in the said programme.
Moreover, similar programme was also organized at TLSC Awantipora in collaboration with Hajahad Public Higher Secondary School Awantipora.
