BANDIPORA, AUGUST 20: A three-day farmers’ skill development training programme under capacity building activities of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) concluded today at Sericulture Nursery Ayatmulla, Bandipora.
During the programme, around 19 farmers were imparted training on the latest techniques and innovations in sericulture-related activities.
The training focused on equipping farmers with modern skills aimed at making the workforce more productive, sustainable, and self-reliant, thereby contributing to the overall growth of the sericulture sector and improving the livelihoods of farmers.
After the completion of the training, the department distributed certificates and essential equipment among the participants.
On the occasion, District Sericulture Officer Bandipora encouraged the farmers to adopt innovative practices for enhancing productivity and ensuring long-term sustainability in the sericulture sector.
