KUPWARA, AUGUST 23: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Kupwara today organized a Special Lok Adalat at the District Court Complex Kupwara and its subordinate courts.
The Special Lok Adalat was convened under the chairmanship of Manjeet Singh Manhas, Principal District & Sessions Judge/ Chairman DLSA Kupwara, to facilitate amicable settlement of disputes pertaining to Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT), Matrimonial matters, civil disputes, and Traffic Challans.
A total of 09 Benches were constituted across the district, that took up a total of 275 cases out of which 175 cases were disposed-off and Rs.37,01,950 was awarded as settlement amount.
