SHOPIAN, AUGUST 23: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Shopian, today organized a Special Lok Adalat for the amicable settlement of Traffic Challans and other civil Cases.
The Lok Adalat was held under the chairmanship of Mehmood Ahmad Chowdhary, Chairman, DLSA Shopian (Principal District & Sessions Judge) at the District Court Complex, Shopian.
For the smooth conduct of proceedings, two Benches were constituted by the DLSA.
A total of 102 cases, including traffic challans and other civil matters, were listed for consideration. Out of these, 91 cases were successfully settled through mutual agreement, resulting in a total settlement amount of Rs.41,64,500.
