Rajouri hosts Divisional Level Volleyball Tournament for U-14 Boys

RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 25: As a part of the Sewa Parv 2025 campaign, the Department of Youth Services and Sports inaugurated the Inter-District Divisional Level Under-14 Boys Volleyball Tournament at the Mini Stadium Sports Complex Rajouri. The event marked a significant step towards promoting athletics and fostering healthy competition among the local youth.

The opening ceremony witnessed an enthusiastic participation of young athletes eager to display their skills. The tournament has brought together talented Under-14 boys from multiple districts, providing them an opportunity to foster camaraderie, discipline and competitive spirit.

The event aims to promote fair play, teamwork and athletic excellence; offer a platform for budding athletes to gain visibility and encourage greater community involvement in sports promotion.

District Information Officer Ashiq Rafiq Malik was the Chief Guest, while Retired ZPEO Rakesh Kumar and other dignitaries attended as Guests of Honour.

The tournament is being conducted under the overall supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Rajouri, Mohammad Qasim, with valuable guidance and support from ZPEO Baljarrallan Wali Mohammad.

Ministry of MSME’s PM iVshwakarma Awareness programs successfully held across 5 DistrictsSRINAGAR, MARCH 13: In a concerted effort to promote and facilitate the growth of artisans, the Ministry of MSME, through its dedicated Br MSME Development & Facilitation Office Srinagar, orchestrated a series of impactful PM Vishwakarma Programs across five districts.  Under the guidance of Br MSME DFO Srinagar, the programs were successfully conducted in Baramulla, Kupwara, Ganderbal, Bandipora and Srinagar districts, in collaboration with the respective District Administrations.  The events garnered substantial participation, with over 1200 enthusiastic stakeholders and beneficiaries joining.  The Assistant Director MSME, Saheel Alaqband emphasized the primary goal of these programs—to generate awareness about the PM Vishwakarma Scheme, ensuring its reach to the remotest locations, allowing artisans to avail themselves of its myriad benefits.  During the programs, comprehensive information about the scheme’s advantages was disseminated, and handholding support through Common Service Centre (CSC) centers was ensured.  Alaqband highlighted that the PM Vishwakarma Scheme provides artisans with recognition through certificates and identity cards, accompanied by training, toolkit incentive, credit support, digital and marketing support.
