SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 30: The Sewa Parv campaign was formally launched in Jammu & Kashmir on 17th September 2025 by the Chief Secretary, with Digi Vans flagged off by the Secretary, Information Technology Department. The initiative seeks to deepen citizen engagement and ensure last-mile delivery of digital services across the UT.

As part of the campaign, Common Service Centres (CSCs) have undertaken extensive awareness drives, community workshops, and outreach programmes at grassroots level. Between 17th and 30th September 2025, a total of 9,166 awareness programmes were organized across J&K, benefitting more than 1.37 lakh citizens. These included 8,786 VLE Point/Touch Point programmes, 30 Digi Van campaigns in remote and far-flung areas, 269 ASK-BSK campaigns for citizen facilitation, 22 District/Divisional campaigns and 59 District Stall campaigns.

Through these initiatives, more than 1,37,723 beneficiaries were sensitized about digital services and citizen-centric schemes.

Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) have played a pivotal role in disseminating information and creating awareness on digital literacy, cyber hygiene, e-governance services, G2C services and financial inclusion.

Speaking on the occasion, senior officials emphasized that Sewa Parv is not merely a campaign, but a movement aimed at ensuring digital empowerment at the doorstep of every citizen, particularly in rural and remote regions.

The CSC State Head, Jammu & Kashmir Faizan Manzoor, said, “Sewa Parv has created an opportunity to directly connect with citizens and sensitize them about the transformative benefits of digital services. The exemplary efforts of our VLEs in reaching the last mile have been instrumental in ensuring access to government schemes and services. CSC Jammu & Kashmir remains fully committed to sustaining this momentum and advancing the vision of Digital India at the grassroots.”

The momentum shall continue till 2nd October 2025, with further activities scheduled across districts to maximize outreach.
