DHJ inspects ongoing operations at Mega Fruit Plant Nursery Chakroi

JAMMU, OCTOBER 25: Director Horticulture Jammu (DHJ) Gul Sayed today visited the Mega Fruit Plant Nursery Chakroi to review the ongoing developmental works & nursery management operations. He was accompanied by Farm Manager, Assistant Director, District Horticulture Officer & other officers.

During the visit, he took a detailed tour of various sections of the nursery and directed the staff to prominently display signboards on each block, indicating its complete details, so as to enhance transparency and awareness among visitors and farmers.

While addressing a large gathering of farmers, Gul Sayed elaborated in detail the Central and UT government schemes of the department aimed to enhance the farmers’ income. He urged the farming community to adopt modern and scientific Horticultural techniques, which would significantly enhance production of Horticulture and allied sectors. He advised the farmers to frequently interact with the field functionaries of the department regarding the new technologies and the problems being faced by them in the fields.

Earlier, the Director distributed offer letters to newly appointed employees for the posts of Steno typist and under SRO MTS post.
