Chief Minister Omar Abdullah chairs 90th Board meeting of JDA

JAMMU, NOVEMBER 13: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today chaired the 90th meeting of the Board of Directors (BoD) of the Jammu Development Authority (JDA) here at Civil Secretariat.

The meeting was attended by Advisor to the Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Dheeraj Gupta, Commissioner Secretary Housing & Urban Development Department Mandeep Kaur, Divisional Commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Jammu Rakesh Minhas, Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation Devansh Yadav, Vice Chairman JDA Rupesh Kumar and other senior officers concerned.

The Board discussed and deliberated upon several key agenda points placed before it for consideration. During the meeting, each agenda item was discussed in detail. The Chief Minister emphasized the need for prudent financial management and timely execution of projects to create urban infrastructure and public amenities in Jammu.

The meeting also held threadbare discussions on the revised estimates for the financial year 2024–25 and the budget estimates for FY 2025–26 of the JDA, with a focus on optimizing resources for planned urban growth and sustainable development.
