DLSA Shopian celebrates National Children’s Day

SHOPIAN, NOVEMBER 14: As part of calendar of activities, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Shopian under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Legal Services Authority today celebrated National Children’s Day at Rainbow International Educational Institute Shopian.

The event was organized under the guidance of Chairman DLSA Shopian, Mehmood Ahmad Chowdhary and Secretary DLSA Shopian, Mudasar Farooq.

National Children Day is celebrated annually on November 14 in commemoration of the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

The programme aimed to make the day special for underprivileged children and to provide them with a platform to enjoy their childhood.

Deputy Chief LADC, Shahnawaz Ahmad Raina and Assistant LADC, Saheefa Sidiq highlighted the importance of Child Rights and Legal Framework provided for the protection and wellbeing of Children.

The programme was attended by Deputy Chief LADC, Assistant LADC, DLSA Staff, PLV’s and a large number of students.
