DODA, NOVEMBER 26: Schools across Doda District celebrated Samvidhan Diwas (Constitution Day) with great enthusiasm and national spirit, following the directions of Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh and Director School Education Jammu, Dr. Naseem Javaid Chowdhary. The district-wide observance was held under the overall supervision of Chief Education Officer Doda, Iqbal Hussain.

The day began with a vibrant “Run for Justice, Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity”, which was flagged off by the District Development Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh in the presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda, Anil Thakur, along with other district officers and officials. Students from various schools of the town, teachers, and community members participated enthusiastically, promoting constitutional values through the symbolic run.

To commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India, all Government and Private schools across the district conducted Constitution Day Pledge Ceremonies and Mass Preamble Reading sessions. Students, teachers and local community members actively took part in the solemn recital, reinforcing their commitment to democratic ideals, unity and national integrity.

Throughout the day, schools organized a series of educational and awareness activities, including Quiz Competitions, Debates and Symposiums on constitutional themes. These initiatives aimed at deepening students’ understanding of the rights and duties enshrined in the Constitution, as well as the visionary contributions of its framers.

The district-level celebrations showcased the Education Department’s commitment to fostering civic awareness and promoting constitutional literacy among students. The events concluded with messages emphasizing unity, responsibility and respect for the constitutional framework that guides the nation.
