RAJOURI, FEBRUARY 26: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma chaired a meeting to review the progress of the establishment of a Centralized CCTV Surveillance System “Nigraan” being implemented through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of Jammu and Kashmir Bank, besides assessing the functioning of the E-Nazar Tracker Portal.
At the outset, the DIO NIC briefed the chair about the functioning and monitoring mechanism of the E-Nazar Portal, highlighting its role in ensuring transparency, accountability and real-time tracking of developmental works across the district.
The District Development Commissioner directed all concerned officers to ensure timely completion of works and submission of bills to avoid procedural delays. “All ongoing and upcoming works shall be mandatorily monitored on the E-Nazar Portal with effect from 1st March to strengthen supervision and streamline execution,” he directed.
The DDC also reviewed the progress of implementation of the “Nigraan” CCTV Surveillance System in educational institutions across the district.
Stressing the importance of safety and security in schools and other institutions, he directed the concerned departments to expedite the installation process and ensure quality execution within stipulated timelines.
