DC Poonch reviews SRO-43 cases in District Level Screening-cum-Coordination Committee meeting

POONCH, MARCH 07: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma today chaired a meeting of the District Level Screening-cum-Coordination Committee to review cases under SRO-43 related to the next of kin of civilians and security force personnel who lost their lives in militancy-related incidents.

The meeting was attended by Senior Superintendent of Police Shafket Hussain Bhatt, Additional Deputy Commissioner Tahir Mustafa Malik, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Muhammad Sayeed, representatives from BSF Khanetar/ Mandi, Army authorities and other concerned officers.

During the meeting, the Additional Deputy Commissioner presented a detailed briefing on the current status of each case under SRO-43. The committee reviewed the progress and discussed the necessary steps required for their timely processing.

While deliberating on the cases, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of expediting the disposal process, noting that the affected families have high expectations from the government for timely assistance and support.

The Deputy Commissioner further directed the concerned departments to adopt a proactive approach and ensure that all required formalities and verifications are completed well within the stipulated time frame so that the cases can be processed without unnecessary delay.
