KISHTWAR, MARCH 14: Member Legislative Assembly Inderwal Pyare Lal Sharma today met with Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Kumar Sharma and submitted a memorandum of issues pertaining to the Inderwal Assembly Constituency.

During the meeting, several important public issues were also discussed in detail. The MLA raised the matter of immediate repair and renovation of the Tourist Reception Centres (TRCs) at Mughalmaidan and Chattroo, which were damaged due to the recent flash floods. He also urged the administration to expedite the pending compensation cases related to the road from Passerkoot to Vohal (up to 4 kms).

The MLA further highlighted the need for the early completion of Kuntwara Bridge and early functioning of the Grid Station at Bonjwah. He further emphasized the importance of opening Sinthan Top and other tourist destinations for tourists to promote local livelihoods.

The Deputy Commissioner assured the MLA that the issues raised would be looked into on priority and that necessary steps would be taken for their timely resolution.
