Speaking on the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner, (ADC), Handwara, Javed Naseem Masoodi, highlighted the historical significance of Vande Mataram, emphasizing its vital role in uniting people and fostering a strong sense of patriotism and national identity.

The event featured vibrant cultural performances by students, including patriotic songs and recitations, adding color and energy to the celebration.

The programme also aimed to sensitize the younger generation about the rich cultural and historical heritage associated with the national song, while reinforcing the values of unity, integrity, and love for the nation.
