KULGAM, MARCH 28: District Industries Centre (DIC) Kulgam today conducted an awareness creation cum outreach programme under RAMP (Raising and Accelerating of MSME Performance) at Govt Degree College Kilam.
Officers from line departments viz. BDO, KVIB, Handicrafts/ Handloom, NRLM, CSC centres, Cooperatives Department, Industrial Promotion Officers and outgoing students of GDC,Kilam were present in the programme.
More than 100 beneficiaries from various departments attended the programme.
The participants and other stakeholders were sensitized about the importance and vibrancy of Udyam Registration for taking their business and industrial establishments to new heights in collaboration with the Government and the flagship schemes run by it.
The process flow and benefits under Udyam Registration was explained to the participants through a detailed presentation by the IPOs of DIC, Kulgam.
Principal, GDC Kilam encouraged students to change their mindset towards entrepreneurship and generating employment.
