Mission Director NHM inspects healthcare services at Nagrota, Rehari Centers

JAMMU, MARCH 28: Mission Director, National Health Mission (NHM), J&K Akriti Sagar today visited Primary Health Centre Nagrota and UAAM Rehari to review the functioning of the twin health facilities and assess the delivery of healthcare services.

During the visit, the Mission Director undertook a detailed assessment of the institutions’ infrastructure, patient care services and overall functioning. The functioning of both the health facilities was found to be satisfactory, with services being delivered effectively to the public.

She interacted with healthcare staff and patients, appreciating their efforts in ensuring quality service delivery at the grassroots level. She emphasised the importance of maintaining high standards of healthcare services, ensuring the availability of essential medicines and strengthening healthcare systems for improved patient outcomes.

The Mission Director also underscored the need to continue focusing on efficient service delivery, proper maintenance of health institutions and responsive healthcare mechanisms to meet public needs.

The visits are part of NHM’s ongoing efforts to strengthen primary healthcare services and ensure accessible, affordable and quality healthcare for all across Jammu & Kashmir.
