KISHTWAR, MARCH 28: Under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Pankaj Kumar Sharma, a mega cleanliness drive was held across the district as part of the ongoing Vande Mataram Special Phase, commemorating the supreme sacrifice of the nation’s martyrs.
At the District Headquarters, the historic Chowgan Ground was the focal point for the mega cleanliness drive organized by the District Administration in collaboration with the local Municipal Council and led by ADC, Pawan Kotwal and CEO Municipal Council Mirza Mumtaz Iqbal along with the active participation of the staff members of the Civic Body.
Similar cleanliness campaigns were also conducted at educational institutions and government offices across the district, engaging the community in a unified effort for a cleaner environment.
Meanwhile, Government Degree College (GDC) Chatroo, along with the Government Middle School Udil Gujran, organized a rally to pay tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Shaheed Rajguru and Shaheed Sukhdev on Shaheedi Diwas.
