DLSA Reasi organizes awareness program

REASI, APRIL 08: District Legal Services Authority Reasi today organized an awareness program in observance of World Health Day at Arnas Reasi under the theme “Together for Health. Stand with Science”.

The awareness programme/camp was attended by Chairman District Legal Services Khalil Choudhary (Pr. District & Sessions Judge Reasi), Pooja Gupta DLSA Secretary (Sub-Judge); Shivali Sharma Munsiff; Aastha Sharma Addl. Spl. Mobile Magistrate; Updesh Kumar SDPO; Anmol BDO; Dr. Mohammad Aijaz BMO along with team of doctors, , AEE PWD, team of LADCs DLSA, ASHA Workers, PLVs and locals.
Welcome address was presented by Secretary DLSA Pooja Gupta.

Speaking on the occasion, the Principal District & Sessions Judge Reasi highlighted the significance of the day and the importance of a healthy life. He encouraged the masses to prioritize physical as well as mental well being by adopting a healthy lifestyle and making yoga and meditation a life routine.

BMO Dr Mohammad Aijaz and Dr. Swarna shared tips on healthy lifestyle. “We forget that Health is the actual Wealth and that health is a vision, a goal and a smart investment that can benefit,” the Doctors said. Deputy LADC Bhumica Sharma, Aashish Dev Singh, a local resident of Arnas and Jyoti Bhagat, student of class 10th also shared their views on the theme of the program and stressed that small changes can make a big impact. Vote of thanks was presented by Assistant LADC DLSA Niharika.

Meanwhile, a free medical camp was also held at the venue. A team of doctors from PHC Arnas and Rotary ENT Hospital Division Reasi provided consultation for the locals.

Another awareness program cum Debate competition was organized at Govt. High School, Dhanori, Katra on Legal Aid. A total of 5 students participated in the competition who were also felicitated with trophies and medals.
