KISHTWAR, APRIL 15: The Department of Youth Services & Sports today organized cricket events themed “Choose Sports, Not Drugs” as part of the 100 day Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan.

The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of students and youth, reflecting a strong commitment towards promoting a healthy, drug-free lifestyle through sports.

Matches were conducted in a disciplined and spirited manner across all zones, providing a platform to young talent to showcase their skills while staying engaged in constructive activities.

District Youth Services & Sports Officer Jaffer Haider Sheikh interacted with players, officials and field staff and emphasized the importance of staying away from drugs and adopting sports as a positive alternative. He highlighted that sports not only build physical fitness but also instill discipline, teamwork and a sense of purpose among youth.
