BUDGAM, APRIL 23: District Administration Budgam, in collaboration with the Civil Defence Department, today conducted a mock drill at Sheikh Ul Alam (SAM) Degree College Budgam.
The Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Athar Aamir Khan, chaired the programme and reviewed the conduct of the exercise.
The drill witnessed participation from various line departments, including Police, Health, Fire & Emergency Services, SDRF, and Civil Defence, demonstrating coordinated response and operational procedures.
The mock drill was organized as part of ongoing activities across the district and aimed at familiarizing participants with standard protocols and procedures to be followed during emergency situations.
Officials highlighted the importance of awareness, coordination, and timely response, while advising citizens to remain alert and follow official guidelines during any emergency.
The District Administration urged the public to cooperate during such exercises conducted from time to time.
