ADC Bandipora flags off House listing and Housing Census 2027 Team

BANDIPORA, JUNE 01: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bandipora, Yaar Ali Khan, who is also the District Census Officer, today flagged off the House listing and Housing Census 2027 (HLO) team in the district, marking the commencement of the first phase of Census 2027 in Bandipora.

Assistant Commissioner Revenue Bandipora, Shabir Ahmad Wani and Chief Executive Officer Municipal Council Bandipora, Aijaz Ahmad were also present on the occasion.

The Houselisting and Housing Census Operations (HLO), which shall continue from June 1 to June 30, 2026, aim to collect data regarding housing conditions, amenities, and assets available to households across the district.
Speaking on the occasion, the ADC urged the general public to extend full cooperation to the census officials and provide accurate information during the survey.

Assistant Commissioner Revenue Bandipora, Shabir Ahmad Wani emphasized that Census 2027 is an important national exercise which plays a vital role in planning and implementation of developmental programmes, welfare schemes, infrastructure development, and policy formulation.

The District Administration appealed to the people of all rural and urban areas of Bandipora to actively participate in the census exercise and support the officials engaged in the process for its smooth and successful conduct.
