DODA, JULY 15: The two-day Capacity Building Programme for Seasonal Educational Volunteers (SEVs), Phase I, organised by District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Doda under the UT Budget 2026-27, concluded at the ICT Lab, DIET Doda.
The programme, conducted from 13 to 14 July 2026, aimed at enhancing the pedagogical skills and teaching competencies of Seasonal Educational Volunteers engaged in seasonal schools. During the two-day training, participants were oriented on innovative teaching methodologies, learner-centric approaches and effective classroom management practices aligned with the objectives of NEP 2020.
DIET Doda Principal Rajesh Kumar supervised the programme and called for continuous professional development of educators to ensure quality education in remote and seasonal schooling setups.
Chief Education Officer Doda Bhushan Kumar Pathak graced the valedictory function as chief guest. He appreciated the efforts of DIET Doda in organising the programme and highlighted the role of SEVs in ensuring educational access in challenging terrain and encouraged participants to utilise the knowledge gained in their respective schools.
The chief guest distributed participation certificates among the trainees and lauded their commitment towards strengthening the education system.
