SAMBA, AUGUST 14: Under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Ayushi Sudan, the district administration Samba today observed Partition Horrors Remembrance Day at the Conference Hall, District Administrative Complex, Nandani Hills .
The event was graced by Additional District Development Commissioner Champa Devi Thakur.
The programme commenced with the rendition of the National Song and National Anthem, followed by the screening of a documentary highlighting the experiences and sufferings associated with the Partition of 1947.
The programme concluded with paying of tributes to those who suffered and lost their lives during the Partition and recalling the importance of remembering this significant chapter of history.
