DC Budgam chairs DLIC meet, approves 1635 cases under HADP, JKCIP & ISDS

BUDGAM, AUGUST 14: District Administration Budgam today approved 1,635 cases under HADP , JKCIP and ISDS schemes during a meeting of District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC), chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Athar Aamir Khan.

Of the total, 1,407 cases were approved under HADP, 128 under JKCIP and 100 under ISDS. The approvals cover Agriculture, Horticulture, Sheep Husbandry, Fisheries, Horticulture P&M and Sericulture sectors.
Chairing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner stressed that agriculture and allied sectors are vital to the rural economy and directed the concerned departments to ensure timely implementation, effective handholding of beneficiaries and close monitoring of approved cases.

He further instructed for coordinated efforts among the Agriculture and Allied Departments to harness the district’s potential in agriculture, horticulture, livestock, fisheries and sericulture, with a focus on strengthening rural livelihoods and creating sustainable employment opportunities.

The DC instructed for coordinated efforts to maximise the impact of these schemes, improve productivity, strengthen rural livelihoods and create sustainable income and employment opportunities for farmers and other beneficiaries.

The meeting was attended by CPO, CAO, CAHO, CHO, DSHO, AD Fisheries and other concerned officers.
