During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the issues affecting the execution of the projects and stressed the need for close coordination among all concerned departments and executing agencies to ensure timely resolution of bottlenecks and smooth progress of the works.

The DC directed the concerned departments to identify and promptly resolve issues relating to land acquisition, utility shifting, road infrastructure and other departmental clearances that may impede the execution of the projects. She emphasised that all pending matters must be taken up on priority through coordinated efforts and regular follow up.

The Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance of ensuring timely shifting of utilities falling within the project alignment and directed the concerned Power Development Department, Jal Shakti, telecommunications and other utility agencies to extend the requisite cooperation to facilitate uninterrupted execution of the works.

The concerned Revenue authorities were directed to coordinate with the executing agencies and address pending land acquisition related issues in accordance with the prescribed procedures. The DC also emphasised the need for regular field-level coordination among the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Police, Traffic Police and other stakeholder departments to address site specific issues and facilitate smooth implementation of the projects.

Stressing the importance of public safety and traffic management during the execution of the projects, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned agencies to ensure appropriate traffic regulation, minimise inconvenience to commuters and take necessary safety measures at vulnerable locations and construction stretches.

The DC further directed all concerned officers to maintain close coordination, submit updated status reports on pending issues and ensure time-bound action on matters requiring interdepartmental intervention. She underscored that the timely completion of these important road infrastructure projects requires accountability, continuous monitoring and proactive resolution of bottlenecks.
