BUDGAM, OCTOBER 27: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Jatin Kishore, today reviewed the progress of the Ring Road Project and the proposed Alternate Airport Road during a meeting held at Conference Hall, Budgam.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner took a detailed review of the status of projects, including proposed road alignments connecting Airport with Ring Road and Railway Station Budgam.
He also reviewed disbursement of compensation to affected landowners and other issues related to project implementation.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed the need for close coordination among all stakeholders to resolve pending issues and ensure smooth and timely progress of the projects.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of the proposed Ring Road project, stating that it is crucial for improving road connectivity and ensuring smoother movement of vehicles and facilitate better mobility across Budgam.
The Project Director, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Srinagar briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the status and progress of the projects.
The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR), Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs), Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Chief Agriculture Officer (CAO), concerned Tehsildars and other officers.
