Fire damages four houses in old Town Baramulla

Srinagar: At-least four houses were damaged in a devastating fire that broke out in old town Baramulla district on Saturday afternoon.
Official sources said that a team of police and fire officials reached the spot soon after getting the information.
They said that fire started in a residential house and engulfed at least three others in no time.
Though the flames were brought under control by fire and emergency department with the help of police and locals, the houses suffered extensive damages.
A fire and emergency department said that eight tenders were rushed to the spot.
“Reason that caused the fire was not immediately known and is being investigated,” the officials said.
They said that there are no reports regarding injury to any person in the incident. (GNS)
