RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 21: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma, today chaired a meeting to review the progress of major developmental projects being executed in different parts of the district.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner took a detailed review of the to-date status of all the major projects under execution in the district and sought reasons for delays, bottlenecks and expected completion time of various ongoing works.
The projects reviewed included Government Degree College Doongi, Government Degree College Darhal, additional accommodation at CHC Kalakote, PHC Kallar Chatyar, SDH Sunderbani and PHC Budhal, among others.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to expedite the pace of work and ensure timely completion of all projects. He stressed that quality standards must be strictly adhered to at every stage of execution.
He further directed the departments to maintain close interdepartmental coordination for prompt resolution of bottlenecks and ensure regular follow-up of ongoing works. The concerned officers were asked to closely monitor the progress and take necessary measures for timely completion of all the projects.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Malikzada Sheraz Ul Haq, CPO Maqsood Ahmed, SE PWD (R&B) Manzoor Ahmed, CMO Dr Manohar Lal Rana, CEO Mohammad Hafiz, Executive Engineers of PWD (R&B) Rajouri, Thanamandi, Nowshera, Kalakote and Koteranka, besides other concerned officers.
