Bandipora, September 23: International Sign Language Day was Saturday Celebrated by District Disability Centre Bandipora in Collaboration with District Administration Bandipora, District Social Welfare (DSW) Office at Bandipora.
The event was organized by the District Disability Centre Bandipora in collaboration with the District Administration Bandipora and DSW Office Bandipora.
The event was held at the District Disability Rehabilitation Centre Bandipora and was attended by a large number of people, including students, Care Takers, government officials, and people with disabilities.
The event also featured a speech by a deaf and mute person. The speaker shared his personal experiences of living as a deaf and mute person. They also spoke about the importance of sign language in his life.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates to the participants of the sign language workshop.
The main objective of the event was to raise awareness about sign language and promote its use in society. The event also provided a platform for deaf and mute people to showcase their talents and skills.
