2 persons injured in bear attack in Budgam forests

Budgam, Sep 26: Two persons were injured in a bear attack at forests of Khansahib area in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the duo identified as Ishaq Ahmad (18) and Mushtaq Ahmad Poswal (24), residents of Ringzabal Khansahib, were attacked by a bear in Ringzabal forests.

He said that both the injured were initially taken to PHC Hardapunzoo by local residents for treatment.

Due to the severity of their injuries, they have been referred to JVC Srinagar hospital for advanced medical care, he said—(KNO)
