JAMMU, NOVEMBER 19: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha during this month’s ‘Awaam Ki Awaaz’ programme reiterated the resolve of J&K UT Administration to promote equitable and inclusive development, based on the ideals of Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar.

“The principal architect of the Indian Constitution and one of the greatest social reformers of India Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar had observed in constituent assembly that social democracy means that way of life which recognizes liberty, equality and fraternity as principles of life,” the Lt Governor said.

Through his speech, Baba Saheb had drawn the country’s attention towards social equality. In the last 9 years, under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, this cherished goal is being realized and a record 13.5 cr people moved out of multidimensional poverty, he added.

Its main objective is to bring about a paradigm shift in the rural socio-economic system and make villages a vibrant force of J&K’s development.
