Man dies after hit by vehicle in Kulgam village

Kulgam, Dec 11: An elderly scooty rider was killed when his scooty was hit by a CRPF vehicle in Khandiphari Harnag area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, officials said.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the incident took place near railway bridge today afternoon.

He said that the man got injured after being hit by the vehicle and was immediately rushed to GMC Anantnag, where he was pronounced dead.

The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Yousuf Chohan son of Ghulam Mohd Chohan of Shangus.

Police has taken cognizance of the matter—(KNO)
