RAMBAN, FEBRUARY 27: The Department of Horticulture Planning and Marketing, under the aegis of Deputy Commissioner Ramban Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, organized an awareness camp at Banihal, shedding light on the various schemes under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP).
The event was presided over by the Deputy Director, Horticulture Planning and Marketing, Ayaz Ahmad Natnoo and witnessed the enthusiastic participation of former PRIs, a large contingent of farmers, and aspiring young individuals seeking employment opportunities.
The camp garnered significant interest from attendees, with 16 individuals expressing keen interest in the Holistic Agriculture development Program (HADP) and the Pradhan Mantri Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) schemes. These individuals were encouraged to submit the necessary documentation to avail of the benefits offered under these schemes.
One of the highlights of the event was the introduction of innovative solutions aimed at enhancing agricultural practices and addressing challenges faced by farmers.
Saptkrishi Scientific, represented by CEO Nikky Kumar Jha from IITN, showcased solar-based natural climatic devices for storage and wild animal protection sensor devices, drawing admiration and interest from the attendees.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Director said that camp provided a platform for knowledge exchange, fostering discussions on modern agricultural techniques and the avenues available for rural development.
