Pulwama, Mar 01 : A Public park in Tral town is in dilapidated condition with locals seeking attention of the authorities.

The residents of Tral said that a public park near Trag Chadayi has been lying in dilapidated condition for a long time but no attention is being given towards it.

Gh Hassan Trag a local resident told news agency—that earlier this park was in good condition but it wasn’t maintained properly due to which it is of no use now.

He said that now dirt is being thrown in the park and it has been turned into a dumping site.

Shakeel Ahmad, another local, said that a lot of people used to visit the park, especially children who were spending time there as many recreational items were installed.

He said that in no time the park was turned into a dumping site as it wasn’t maintained.

Locals said that the park needs to be repaired and recreational items need to be installed so that people, especially children can spend some time there.

They said that the park in the main town and Municipal Committee Tral must take cognizance of the issue.

They have also sought the attention of Deputy Commissioner Pulwama in this regard.
