Ramban, Mar 5, : A road accident in the Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir claimed two lives on Tuesday. In two days, there were two accidents in the district in which 6 precious lives were lost.
On Monday 4 people died after a Tata Sumo plunged into a deep gorge near Pogal Paristan area of the district. Three others sustained injuries in that accident.
Today on Tuesday, a vehicle skidded off the road and glided into the gorge near the Battery Chashma area of Ramban. Both the occupants received critical injuries.
Officials said they were taken to District Hospital Ramban where doctors declared them brought dead. They were identified as Tariq Ahmed (32) and 25-year-old Hakimuddin, both residents of Dalwah village of Gool Ramban.
Police in this regard registered a case under relevant sections of law.
