Udhampur: Training imparted to Zonal & Sector Magistrates ahead of Lok Sabha Elections 2024

UDHAMPUR, MARCH 14: As part of the preparation for the smooth conduct of the upcoming Lok Sabha election 2024, the District Election Authority Udhampur today organized a training session for Zonal, Sector Magistrates, Assembly, and District Level Master Trainers. District Election Officer, Udhampur, Saloni Rai chaired the program held in the Conference Hall, DC Office Complex.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Joginder Singh Jasrotia, Deputy District Election Officer Dr. Anirudh Rai, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Dr. Umesh Shan, Sub Divisional Magistrate Ramnagar Rafiq Ahmad Jaral, Sub Divisional Magistrate Chenani Gurdev Kumar, along with other Zonal and Sectoral Magistrates, and District and Assembly level Master trainers attended the training programme.

During the session, District Level Master Trainers provided comprehensive information on the preparation and conduct of the upcoming Lok Sabha election 2024. Participants were briefed about their roles in the election process.

Addressing the trainees, DEO emphasized the importance of adhering to rules and regulations to ensure free, fair, and transparent elections in the district. She actively engaged in the training session, reiterating the need for strict adherence to procedures.

A question-answer session was also conducted, allowing participants to raise queries. Master Trainers provided satisfactory answers, clarifying all doubts about election procedures and rules.
