DODA, MARCH 14: The District Election Authority Doda today organized a one-day training programme for nodal officers in preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha election 2024.
The event, held in the Conference Hall DC Office Complex, was conducted under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner Sudershan Kumar and Deputy District Election Officer Om Prakash.
During the meeting, SLMT Riaz Ahmed Butt provided a comprehensive overview of the role and responsibilities of each designated nodal officer. He highlighted the significance of adhering to the Model Code of Conduct and addressed queries raised by the officers regarding its implementation.
The training session covered different aspects including security protocols, EVM preparation, SVEEP initiatives, expenditure monitoring, media communication strategies, material management, manpower coordination, and transportation planning. Guidelines were provided to district-level master trainers to ensure effective dissemination of knowledge.
Nodal Officers were entrusted with the task of devising meticulous plans and submitting them within the specified time frame to ensure the smooth conduct of the elections. The event, attended by various district officers/ officials, aimed to promote harmonious collaboration and efficient coordination for a free, fair, and transparent electoral process.
