DC Ramban reviews arrangements for Eid-ul-fitr

RAMBAN, MARCH 27: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary today reviewed arrangements for the Eid-ul-Fitr here at a meeting attended by concerned officers, religious leaders and civil society members.

 ADC Varunjeet Singh Charak; Dy. SP Headquarter Omprakash; Dy. SP, DAR, Imtiaz Ahmed; DIO, Mohammad Ashraf Wani; AD FCS&CA, Niamtullah Sheikh; CMO Dr. Kamal Jee Zadu; Executive Engineers along with various senior officers and religious leaders. SDMs and Tehsildars also joined the meeting virtually.

The meeting delved into detailed discussions on Eid celebration arrangements, availability of essential services and other related things.

Instructions were issued to concerned officers to monitor overcharging, black-marketing, and the quality of essential commodities during the festive period, ensuring the availability of quality food items.

Enforcement departments were directed to conduct frequent market checks and ensure essential commodities are availabile across the district.

CEO of Municipal Council Ramban was directed to ensure cleanliness drives around religious places, with similar directives passed to EO’s of MC Banihal and Batote.

Meanwhile, SDMs and tehsildars were instructed to oversee all necessary arrangements within their respective jurisdictions for smooth celebration of Eid festival.
