Laam, Nishat residents urge R&B for immediate repair of boulevard road

Srinagar, Apr 20 : The residents of Laam area in Nishat area of Srinagar here have raised concerns over the deteriorating condition of the famous Boulevard Road, urging the Roads & Buildings (R&B) department and authorities to expedite repairing work.

They added that they have highlighted the presence of a significant pothole on Boulevard Road many times, but no action has been taken in this regard.

Speaking to the news agency, the locals from Nishat said these potholes have been causing inconvenience to the commuters and posing a potential risk to the vehicles.

“We emphasize the importance of addressing this issue promptly to ensure the safety and smooth flow of traffic in the area,” said Sahil, a local.  He added that this issue should be sorted at the earliest.

Moreover, expressing their anger, locals have called upon the R&B department and relevant authorities to take immediate action
