KISHTWAR, APRIL 27: The Immunization, Vaccination camp for Hajj-2024 Pilgrims was held today here in District Hospital Kishtwar.
Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav along with Chief Medical Officer, Dr Rajinder Kumar, Medical Superintendent, Dr Yudhvir Singh Kotwal, Incharge Hajj Ayaz Ahmed and other senior officers of District Administration remained present on the occasion.
The DC took stock of the Vaccination process and inspected the arrangements put in place to facilitate the selected Pilgrims of Kishtwar. Interacting with the Hajj-2024 Pilgrims, the DC congratulated them for the Holy Hajj-2024.
The DC urged them to pray for the well-being and prosperity of the people. The DC was informed that the vaccination for Meningococcal Meningitis, Poliomyelitis and Seasonal Influenza (SIV) are being administered to the selected Hajj-2024 Pilgrims for which doctors and authorities of Hajj Committee have opened special counters. Pertinent to mention that after screening 66 people of the district have been selected for the Hajj at Holy Mecca.
