SAMBA, MAY 09: The General Manager District Industries Centre (DIC) Samba, in collaboration with the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) Jammu, organized a significant Grievance Redressal Workshop aimed at streamlining the claim filing process under the New Central Sponsored Scheme (NCSS) for Industrial Development of Jammu and Kashmir.
The workshop, held in the conference hall of office of the Estates Manager, Industrial Growth centre, SIDCO, Samba, witnessed active participation from 20 investors hailing from the Samba region. The primary objective of this workshop was to address the existing information gaps and resolve grievances encountered by investors in navigating the NCSS framework.
During the interactive session, industry stakeholders were provided with detailed insights into the claim filing procedures under NCSS. Key aspects such as eligibility criteria, documentation requirements, and timelines for claims were thoroughly discussed, ensuring a comprehensive understanding among participants.
The workshop also served as a platform for investors to voice their concerns and seek clarifications directly from the DIC Samba and PIU Jammu officials. This proactive approach towards grievance redressal not only promotes transparency but also fosters a conducive environment for industrial growth in the region.
General Manager of DIC Samba Gurpreet Singh emphasized the importance of such initiatives in bridging information gaps and fostering trust between the government and the investor community. The collaborative efforts of DIC Samba and PIU Jammu underscore their commitment to facilitating a conducive ecosystem for industrial development in Jammu and Kashmir.
